Mt Hagen Trek and Climbing (Tour Code: AT-H12) 
Mt Hagen is the third highest mountain in Papua New Guinea at 3,790 metres or 12,434 feet above sea level. Walking through the rainforest to the the summit takes about 3 hours for seasoned trekkers and for amateurs, it can take up to 4 hours. The trek offers many beautiful and exotic orchids, extraordinary plants and flowers and insects. In this itinerary your trekking expeditions starts at Kumul Lodge. This is an exciting and demanding trek that is fully recommended for active people with some hiking experience.

Day 1 - Arrival (Mt Hagen)/Kumul Lodge
Meet our staff at Kagamuga Airport upon arrival and transfer to Kumul Lodge. It is a habitation of countless native wildlife species of the highlands of PNG. Overnight at Kumul Lodge. (D)
Day 2 – Magic MountainLodge/Base Camp
Today you will hike up to Mt Hagen base camp from Kumul Lodge with your guide. Hiking to the basecamp will be approximately 3-4 hours. Enjoy breathtaking sceneries and wildlife. Lunch will be picnic and in the afternoon camping at the base with your guide. (BLD)
Day 3 – Base Camp/Summit/Magic Mountain Lodge
A pre-dawn trek to the summit and enjoy a birds eye view of the lowland Western Highlands and Enga Province. Trek back to the base camp and have lunch. And then trek to the Lodge and overnight. (BLD)
Day 4 – Kumul Lodge/Mt Hagen
